Haiti's Slums

The photos below show some of the living conditions of one slum in Port-au-Prince. This is how life has been for the people that live here. The earthquake has had a small effect on the buildings here. In the 90 degree plus weather the dirty river is overpowering. Yet houses are feet away from the garbage. Children run around without shoes, and pigs eat the garbage in the water.
